Protect Your Liver.

Protect Your Life.

Liver disease can develop silently, and many people may be at risk without realising it. To help raise awareness, NishkamSWAT is offering free FibroScan liver health checks. These simple, non-invasive scans can give you an indication of your liver’s condition and help you understand whether you may need further assessment from a healthcare professional.

Take a proactive step toward your wellbeing — get informed, get checked, and look after your liver.

Why Liver Health Matters

A Lifesaving Mission for Liver Health

Liver disease is one of the UK’s fastest-growing health concerns, and many cases can be prevented through early awareness and informed lifestyle choices. Because symptoms often appear only in later stages, understanding your liver health early is essential.

The LiverSWAT campaign is committed to making this possible. Your support helps us continue offering free community-based FibroScan liver health checks, train medical volunteers, deliver outreach across diverse communities, and provide clear, accessible information that empowers people to take control of their health.

Together, we can raise awareness, encourage early action, and help more people lead healthier lives.

What NishkamSWAT Is Doing

Screenings. Education. Outreach.

Through partnerships with healthcare professionals and faith-based organisations, NishkamSWAT is bringing FibroScan liver health checks directly into local communities, from places of worship to community centres. We provide free liver health checks, educational talks, and information sessions designed to empower individuals and raise awareness of preventable illness. By meeting people where they are and offering trusted, community-based support, we are helping individuals take informed steps toward better health.

Serve Your Community, Save a Life

Volunteer and Host Events

Whether you support liver health awareness events, help organise community sessions, or assist at local health days, your time and presence can help people build awareness of liver health and understand when to seek further care. Together, we can reach more communities and make a meaningful difference.

Your Contribution Can Save Lives

Donate and Support the Mission

A FibroScan liver health check can be costly and isn’t easily accessible for everyone. With your support, we can continue offering these checks for free and reach even more communities. Your donation helps fund equipment, volunteer training, medical partnerships, and educational resources that make this service possible. Every pound helps us support healthier, stronger communities.

The Story Behind the Mission

Turning Loss into Purpose

This mission began with a personal tragedy. Taran, a volunteer at NishkamSWAT lost his father, Amrik Singh Rai, to advanced liver cancer. His family’s experience highlighted how silent liver disease can be and how easily its early signs can go unnoticed.

In his memory, and for all those affected by liver disease and liver cancer, NishkamSWAT is transforming that loss into meaningful action by bringing liver health checks, education, and support into communities that need them most. The aim is to raise awareness, encourage people to understand their liver health, and help them access care sooner.

Voices from the LiverSWAT Launch

At our launch event, leading doctors and health advocates shared vital insights on liver disease prevention and the importance of liver health checks.
